Sanctuary was created for the immersive Beyond the Road exhibition currently running at the Saatchi Gallery. The show merges the worlds of visual art, music and film in a reconstruction of audio and visual elements from the UNKLE albums The Road: Part I and The Road: Part II / Lost Highway. This multi-sensory experience fills the entire top floor of the Gallery and includes works by many contemporary artists and filmmakers.

Beyond the Road is an independent project created by Colin Nightingale (Punchdrunk), Stephen Dobbie (Punchdrunk) and James Lavelle (UNKLE) in collaboration with the Saatchi Gallery. The project was supported by Punchdrunk as part of its Research and Development Programme into new forms of immersive audience experience.
